The cyber security world knows no borders The scope of threats in cyber security is at an all time high, A massive ransomware attack challenges the nations infrastructure, an international data breach impacts millions. This increasing threat environment is, though, also driving an enormous growth in the market for cyber security, as companies and states rush to build resilience.

Cyber attacks have reached all-time high levels of frequency and sophistication in the past months. State-sponsored hacking groups and cyber-criminal gang members are using far-more cutting-edge methods- including artificial intelligence and machine learning – to break in to systems.

Sectors such as health care, banking and energy have been priority targets and experienced major disruptions and financial blowback. And only last week a large hospital network in the United States saw its operations grind to a halt after a devastating ransomware attack, which underscored the relative weakness of critical services.

In addition to this growth, with the explosion of connected devices and the growing dependence on cloud-based services comes the expanded attack surface – more devices and entry points for attackers. With the shift to remote work, the world also saw new security concerns as businesses try to secure remote workforces and personal devices families were using for work.
