IndiaAI Selects Top Startups for Prestigious Paris Global Accelerator

A step towards India having more of a global imprint in AI: IndiaAI launchpad (led by MeitY) under India’s national AI strategy selects top 10 Indian start-ups for its prestigious IndiaAI Startups Global (ISG) Initiative.

Announcing the international program in partnership with Station F, the world’s biggest startup campus in Paris, and HEC Paris, Europe’s popular business school, the program aims to enable Indian deep-tech AI startups to have global reach.

The move, which was announced earlier today, highlights India’s endeavor to contribute to the global AI frameworks and initiatives, as part of innovation diplomacy as outlined during the Prime Minister’s visit to the AI Action Summit in February 2024.

The Trifecta: The Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw pitched this as a significant strategic step and observed that it will allow India’s best startups to access global markets, create global coalitions, construct meaningful AI products.

Describing the ISG initiative as the ‘vital bridge’ between India’s growing AI talent and the world’s most vibrant innovation ecosystems.

Additional Secretary and CEO IndiaAI Mission Shri Abhishek Singh said: “this tie-up will take our AI startups to the silicon valley of excellence into the new cutting edge areas. He commended the chosen startups for the diversity and massive potential that India’s AI space offered.

The selected ten startups, the product of a tough multi-stage selection process, cover a wide scope of AI applications. They include:

PrivaSapien Technologies: Developing ethical AI solutions using privacy preserving technologies.

CoRover.AI: Greek Gen AI chatbot that provides human-like, contextual responses!

Staqu Technologies (Jarvis): It uses AI for video and audio analytics to enable better security and surveillance.

SatSure Analytics: Using satellite data and machine learning for earth observation and decision intelligence.

Storyvord: AI co-producer for brand storytelling video content.

VolarAlta: AI and Air Platforms to Monitor Industrial Emissions.

Smartail: An EdTech platform that provides adaptive learning experiences using AI.

Secure Blink: Enabling proactive cyber security with AI-based DevSecOps platform.

NeuroPixel. AI: Fast image editing for fashion and e-commerce with AI.

Voysis: A proprietary Agentic AI platform for enterprise-grade intelligent voice agents.

The startups will go through a 4-month full acceleration program. This consists of a 1 month online course and a 3 month incubation programme based at Station F in Paris.

While in France, they will receive coaching from top industry experts worldwide, access pan-european investor community and receive business development coaching by HEC Paris.

This project is part of the larger ambitions of the IndiaAI Mission, which is based on 7 broad pillars towards encouraging responsible, inclusive and scalable AI development in the country. with seven pillars: Compute, Innovation, Dataset, Application Development, FutureSkills, Startup Financing, and Safe & Trusted AI.

The partnership between IndiaAI, Station F and HEC Paris is a major move towards making India known as a powerhouse operating at the forefront of the responsible and inclusive AI innovation that is happening worldwide.
