Khazna Data Centers, the UAE-headquartered provider of world-class regional digital infrastructure services, has announced its industry leading strategic partnership with Nvidia, the market leader in accelerated computing.

Together, the duo will expedite the creation of next-generation AI infrastructure throughout the Middle East & Africa [MEA] region, with much of the heavy lifting taking place in the already-revealed 5-gigawatt (GW) UAE-US AI campus in Abu Dhabi.

The agreement is a testament to the growing collaboration between the UAE and US technology powerhouses to help mold the future of artificial intelligence. In the wake of a recent visit by U.S. President Donald Trump to the UAE during the reveal of the 5GW AI campus, this partnership cements the region’s position as a worldwide AI contender.

Under our partnership, Nvidia has certified the design of Khazna’s next-generation facilities to colocate the supercomputer-grade Nvidia Blackwell architecture.

This means that Khazna facilities that are in-progress and upcoming will seamlessly integrate Nvidia-ready designs, and will be fully compatible with the latest and most advanced GPU-accelerated workloads needed for sophisticated AI workloads.

Khazna also proposes to build AI data halls with a single capability of up to 50 megawatts (MW) and to scale an individual AI cluster to approximately 250MW. A number of these centres will be housed in the proposed UAE-US AI college, not only making the UAE one of the world’s most high-tech AI infrastructure centres.

The plan is to deliver world’s leading compute capacity for digital services, specifically in the Global South, while also enabling consistent low-latency access for close to half of the world’s population.

Expanding beyond the UAE, Khazna is growing across the MEA region and Europe, targeting up to 1GW of capacity in key markets such as France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye and Kenya. Khazna Data Centers CEO Hassan Alnaqbi underlined the importance of the venture: “The world is at the dawn of a new AI-driven innovation disruption and the UAE is poised to spearhead this opportunity.

The collaboration with Nvidia is the next milestone in providing future-proof, ultra-high capacity infrastructure at hyperscale. It reaffirms our commitment to the UAE’s vision to be a world leader in AI.” This partnership represents a significant milestone in the ongoing global AI arms race and the UAE is solidifying its place as a niche for innovation and technological advancements.
