Botpress, a top platform for building and deploying AI agents, today announced it has successfully raised $25 million USD in Series B funding. This significant investment, led by FRAMEWORK with participation from Inovia Capital, Deloitte Ventures, HubSpot Ventures, Decibel, and existing investors, marks a pivotal moment for the Montreal-based company as it aims to dramatically scale its AI agent infrastructure and cement its position at the forefront of the burgeoning AI agent landscape.

The new capital will be strategically deployed to accelerate platform development, enhance global customer support, and expand Botpress’s engineering and go-to-market teams. This move comes as the company experiences rapid growth, driven by increasing customer adoption and the successful deployment of AI agents across diverse industries such as customer support, fintech, IT services, and consumer technology.

“AI agents will replace entire categories of software over the next decade, but most of the infrastructure required to run these agents safely at scale is still missing,” stated Sylvain Perron, founder and CEO of Botpress. “We’ve spent the last several years building that missing infrastructure layer so companies can run real agents in production today, not just prototypes.”

Since launching its cloud platform in 2023, Botpress has seen substantial revenue growth, with thousands of customers now utilizing its platform to deploy live AI agents. The company’s ability to bridge the gap between AI agent prototyping and reliable, production-ready deployments has resonated strongly with businesses seeking to leverage the power of large language models (LLMs) for practical applications.

Investors expressed strong confidence in Botpress’s vision and execution. Jim Texier, Partner & CTO at FRAMEWORK, lauded Botpress as a “powerful end-to-end agentic AI platform built for production at scale.” He added, “In a world moving rapidly toward autonomous, LLM-native systems, Botpress empowers builders to create, deploy and monitor intelligent agents and conversational AI. I believe this is the future of Human-AI and AI-AI interactions , and Botpress is top it.”

The funding will enable Botpress to double its 65-person team within the next year, establish a new office and data center in Europe, and introduce voice capabilities in the upcoming quarter, further enhancing its complete offerings for businesses looking to integrate advanced AI agents into their operations. This investment underscores the growing demand for robust infrastructure that allows companies to move beyond experimentation and truly operationalize AI agents for tangible business outcomes.
