ZTE Unveils AI-Driven Autonomous Network Strategy at TM Forum’s DTW Ignite
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

ZTE Corporation, a global leader in information and communication technology solutions, today unveiled its complete AI-driven autonomous network strategy at TM Forum’s Digital Transformation World (DTW) Ignite event in Copenhagen. The company emphasized that autonomous networks are no longer a futuristic concept but a critical cornerstone for operators’ digital transformation in the rapidly evolving AI era.

At the heart of ZTE’s strategy is the “AIR Net” solution, an AI-Reshaped Network built on a robust tri-engine architecture: an AI Large Language Model Engine, a Big Data Engine, and a Digital Twin Engine. Mr. Dai Yanbin, Deputy GM of Service & Data Intelligence Product Line at ZTE, highlighted in his keynote, “AI & Data Solid the Path to L4 Autonomous Network,” that these engines operate symbiotically, with the Data Engine feeding high-quality information to the AI LLM Engine, which in turn receives intelligent data management agents.

ZTE also announced the open-sourcing of its “Co-Sight Framework” in April 2025, a move that is set to lead the industry in the agent revolution. This framework strategically separates reasoning from execution to enhance agent focus, driven by innovations in knowledge graph-optimized data creation, advanced graph search for RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), and standardized LPI Protocols (MCP/A2A) for cross-vendor interoperability. This open approach allows operators to mix-and-match components via OpenAPI or intent-driven interfaces, accelerating the journey towards L4+ network autonomy.

The company showcased proven results from its collaboration with China Telecom, a strategic partner. These achievements include a significant 20% reduction in Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), top to faster troubleshooting. Furthermore, ZTE contributed to a 14.1% improvement in energy efficiency through optimized operations and achieved effortless integration with China Telecom’s Kunlun Cloud Network Ecosystem.

ZTE’s autonomous network deployments have demonstrated strong commercial efficiency gains across various regions, including enhanced maintenance efficiency, improved self-optimization, faster fault recovery, and more effective disaster response. By leveraging AI-driven agents and large models, ZTE is enabling end-to-end automation, reducing the need for manual intervention, and progressively moving networks towards fully closed-loop, value-driven systems.

ZTE reaffirmed its commitment to global partnerships, inviting operators to co-create the future of autonomous networks. As the industry gathers at DTW Ignite, ZTE’s unveiling of its AI-driven strategy marks a pivotal step in accelerating the evolution towards intelligent and sustainable connectivity.
