The UK’s Ministry of Defence (MOD) has announced a major restructuring of its Cyber & Specialist Operations Command (CSOC) in a move designed to bolster the nation’s cyber readiness and counter evolving digital threats. The overhaul, part of a broader defense modernization strategy, aims to integrate cyber capabilities more seamlessly with traditional military operations, from the battlefield to cyberspace.
The reshaped CSOC will focus on three key pillars: global cyber operations, information warfare, and specialist cyber support for all branches of the armed forces.
