Global professional services giant Accenture today announced a sweeping transformation of its growth model, signaling a strategic pivot to more effectively harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and better serve its clients in an increasingly AI-driven world.
Effective September 1, 2025, the company will consolidate its diverse service lines into a single, integrated business unit called “Reinvention Services,” a move designed to accelerate the delivery of AI-enabled solutions and unlock new waves of growth.
This significant restructuring underscores Accenture’s commitment to being the “reinvention partner of choice” for its clients. By bringing together its expertise in Strategy, Consulting, Song, Technology, and Operations under one unified umbrella, Accenture aims to streamline its offerings, foster faster solution development, and more seamlessly embed data and AI into its services and delivery mechanisms.
Manish Sharma, currently CEO of Accenture’s Americas region, will lead the new Reinvention Services unit as the company’s first Chief Services Officer. This leadership appointment highlights the criticality of this new model to Accenture’s future.
The company will continue to operate through its three established geographic markets – the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific – and maintain its industry-specific go-to-market approach.
Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture, emphasized the necessity of these changes, stating, “Today, our clients need more value faster, and Accenture is their reinvention partner of choice. These changes to our growth model will allow us to deliver that value and continue to scale our business by being an even stronger engine of reinvention that more rapidly delivers the power of Gen AI.”
The integrated Reinvention Services unit is expected to facilitate the creation of leading-edge solutions at an accelerated pace, enabling Accenture to capitalize on the surging demand for AI-powered transformations across industries.
This strategic shift reflects Accenture’s ongoing commitment to innovation and its proactive stance in shaping the future of professional services in the age of AI. The company aims to write “the playbook for how to be the most AI-enabled, client-focused professional services company in the world.”
