AI Acquisition’s Breakthrough: Driving Practical AI Adoption in Businesses
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

In a major move to democratize AI, UK private equity firm AI Acquisition announces early success of its commitment to bring the benefits of AI to businesses of all stripes.

Expanding outside of its original game of rolling up AI startups, the company has been able to be successful with a consulting business that helps companies learn to adapt AI without needing to make early investments in highly specialized (and expensive) AI talent or taking the time to build their own machine learning models.

This strategic move fills an important void: between the rapid progress in AI tools and their practical application within everyday business. For many businesses – especially small- and medium-sized businesses – they find the implementation complexity and the cost of applying AI discouraging.

AI Acquisition seeks to change and disrupt this order, making power AI solutions available and comprehensible to business leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals in a variety of positions.

The firm’s leadership believes: “AI is not just a buzzword, it’s a powerful technology revolution,” said Jordan Lee, Chairman and Co-founder of AI Acquisition. What we want to do is help people and businesses comprehend and use these AI tools in ways that don’t require deep technical knowledge of the technology or even programming skills.”

This strategy, focuses on building practical, scalable AI-driven business solutions, which can be replicated throughout clients businesses to generate internal growth and improved efficiency.

The success has solidified with a proven valuation of $300 million within a few years of the business being born. AI Acquisition expects to continue adding to its portfolio by acquiring additional AI companies, as it continues to establish itself as an industry leader in enabling practical AI adoption.

The move also reflects an era in which companies are recognizing the disruptive potential of AI. Recent research from IBM has found that execs expect there to be an eight-fold increase in AI-enabled workflows by the end of 2025, with a large portion of AI funding now geared towards core business areas. This represents a move away from experimental AI pilots to a more strategic and results-based incorporation of AI into the business.

AI Acquisition’s obligation goes beyond its business aspirations. The organisation has also revealed its backing of a charity Foundation that aims to better the lives of children in remote Kenya – nurturing and caring for them in homes while getting them involved in AI as youngsters. This social responsibility effort, which holds a special place in Jordan Lee’s heart as his wife was raised in Kenya, is also demonstrative of the company’s overall perspective on technology addressing real societal needs.

With an emphasis on easy-to-use, pragmatic applications, coupled with robust support, AI Acquisition is also positioned to transform AI adoption more broadly, enabling businesses to gain new efficiencies, innovate and become more autonomous.
