InfraPartners, a leading innovator in prefabricated AI data center solutions, today announced the launch of its new Advanced Research and Engineering function. This strategic initiative marks a significant step towards shaping the future of digital infrastructure, particularly as the demand for AI-driven data centers is projected to triple by 2030, with AI-specific infrastructure accounting for approximately 70% of this growth.

The newly formed function aims to foster robust industry collaboration, generate forward-looking insights, and establish thought leadership within the rapidly evolving data center landscape. By bringing together diverse expertise from across the AI and data center ecosystem, InfraPartners intends to address the complex challenges and capitalize on the immense opportunities presented by the next wave of AI-driven growth.

“At InfraPartners, our new research function represents the deliberate convergence of expertise from across the AI and data center ecosystem,” stated Bal Aujla, Director and Head of Advanced Research at InfraPartners. “We’re uniting professionals with diverse perspectives and backgrounds in artificial intelligence, data center architecture, power infrastructure, and capital allocation to address the evolving needs of AI and the significant value it can bring to the world.”

The function will adopt an integrated team approach, enabling an end-to-end perspective on opportunities and challenges, moving beyond the traditional siloed engineering approach to digital infrastructure. The focus will be on initiatives that can most significantly transform data center architecture and generate substantial business value.
