World leaders, experts and thinkers will meet in Bangkok, Thailand from June 24 to 27 2025 in the framework of the 3rd UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.

The conference, which will be co-hosted by UNESCO and the Government of Thailand, will be the first of its kind to be held in the Asia-Pacific region, thereby emphasizing the increasing influence of the region on designing ethical AI governance.

With some 800 participants from 194 UNESCO Member States forecasted, the forum is an important space of international cooperation on the development of responsible and inclusive AI.

Center on human rights, gender equality and sustainability. Key issues including protecting personal data, developing clear and accountable AI policies, enhancing educational AI to unlock learning opportunities, addressing inequality with AI inclusivity and getting our workforce ready to lead an AI-fueled future.

“Thailand, as a host country, will show a good example of initiating responsible AI as it collaborates with UNESCO’s AI Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) and the establishment of its AI Governance Practice Center. “Bangkok AI Week 2025” will be held in conjunction with the event with AI-enabled solutions on display and networking across several locations.

Following the successful forums in Prague and Kranj, Forum 2020 Bangkok seeks to generate concrete results and motivate international cooperation to lead us in the direction of a world where human rights and ethical principles govern the use and content of AI.

It just demonstrates that the world needs to come together fast to coordinate and share know how towards constructing a responsible AI ecosystem which works equally well for everybody.
