GITEX Europe x Ai Everything 2025 Europe’s largest debut technology and startup show kicked off today at Messe Berlin, welcoming thousands of international tech leaders, investors, policymakers and more.
The three-day conference – which ends of 23rd May – is focused on the power of AI and the information security challenges that a digital world presents.
The summit comes at a crucial time for Europe as governments work to build a new culture of innovation whilst seeking to establish Europe as a world leader in AI.
This aspiration is complemented by substantial investments in AI infrastructure: this week, Abu Dhabi’s MGX signed a deal with Nvidia to build Europe’s largest AI data center campus.
So far, more than 1,400 exhibiting companies have signed up to attend GITEX Europe, among them tech names such as AWS, Bosch, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Dell, Fortinet, IBM, Lenovo, ManageEngine, NinjaOne, NVIDIA, and SAP.
These are joined by 750+ startups from over 60 countries bringing cutting-edge solutions. Including 600+ top notch investors and 500+ expert speakers from 100+ countries.
The first day kicked off with keynotes from speakers such as Nobel Physics Prize Winner Geoffrey Hinton – known as the “Godfather of AI”. Hinton delivered his perspective on the promise and the peril of AI, touting the transformative capabilities of AI agents, while also sounding a note of warning about the consequences of smarter and smarter digital systems.
The conference programme covers a vast array of high impact topics from the acceleration of AI in different industry sectors, to fighting the invisible cyber war, to the possible advances in quantum computing, to how alternative energy can save the planet, to harnessing the power of the disruptors, the future strategy for SME and new businesses to accelerate growth behind their S curve and how to turbo boost your investment ready for disposal, amongst many others. Dedicated section GITEX Cyber Valley features presentations and have on display the best of the best from the world of cybersecurity companies.
A range of investment, funding and collaboration takes place at GITEX Europe, which is more than just a technology show. This is in line with the UAE’s wider strategy to further enhance collaboration with Europe in the digital economy and entrepreneurship.
Against a backdrop of AI and cybersecurity, GITEX Europe in Berlin will be a major catalyst for accelerating Europe’s digital future: growing its economy, creating jobs, and sparking debate into the ethical and societal questions posed by these fast-paced fields.
